Perfume layering checklist: pick a base, pick an accent, and stop before the air gets noisy
The goal of layering is direction, not volume. If both perfumes are trying to be the headline, the pair is probably wrong.
Default rules
- Choose one base and one accent.
- Keep the base cleaner, quieter, or woodier than the accent.
- Do one wrist test and one fabric test before you wear the pair outside.
